ARCHIVE, CURIOSITIES, EDITIONS

Hello and welcome to The Secretaire!

An Israel-based project gathering stationery, prints, designed objects and original artworks. Rooted in hand-drawn elements, vintage imagery and collage, it is shaped by nostalgic and archival references.

Each piece is conceived as an object of collection — a small archival fragment, somewhere between artwork and everyday artefact, intended to be kept, shared, or lived with.

This project is created by artist Keila Moizhesh, who develops its visual language through artworks, editions and occasional collaborations.

The Secretaire draws its name from a family memory — her father’s secretaire, built into a soviet-era wall unit, a "stenka", in the family home. Behind its heavy, creaking fold-down door was a hidden compartment where small keepsakes and paper fragments quietly gathered over time. This concealed interior became an early reference point for the project’s language — where memory and collecting quietly converge.

Stay for a while. Write to us anytime!

Warm regards,

The Secretaire Team.
